I have seen all of the same angles that all of you have, and I still have yet to see where Wade was "celebrating" after making the hit. All I could make out was that he instantly started looking around for the ball, thinking he had caused a fumble.
He's not dumb, as many of you like to believe. Why on earth would he randomly decide to try to take out the punt returner, knowing it would result in, at the least, a personal foul penalty and an arse-chewing by Petrino? It makes absolutely no sense.
The punt returner did not signal a fair catch, and if he attempted to, it was extremely subtle and I could understand how it could not be seen. In addition, the punt returner was actually starting to run TOWARDS Wade.
If the heat of the moment, Wade probably did not see a fair catch being called and saw the player running towards him and thought that he had caught the ball. It's happened tons of times in the history of the game, yet for some reason this one is getting blown out of proportion worse than the rest.
Yeah, the way he handled himself while being escorted off the field was not great, but he was probably pissed because he still thought he had made a great play but was getting punished for it.

He was looking at the ground when he made the tackle. It is not about a fair catch.

Really cheap shot, followed by total lack of class as he left the field. IF you plan on taking a cheap shot, then take your flag and get the hell off the field after you do it
