Hell today, we have no fresh pitchers and DVH said if he has to he'll pitch a position player. This may be a "T" ball game today. Hats off to both teams, they have some darn good player's on that MO State team, tough as hell.

I wonder if the decision to keep playing last night was based on the scheduled start of the if necessary game. The if necessary game is at 7:00 tonight. Would they have played until 3:15 am last night if the if necessary game was scheduled for noon?

I think it was middle of the 8th- because it was after we were on the field and before they were on the field.
Unless there's something else he's referring to- I wasn't at the game so maybe he's talking something that happened during a commercial break.

DVH was justified in trying to get that game in after watching his team pitch in a fricking downpour in the top of the 8th. Nobody got "hosed" last night.

That is what I was thinking because it wouldn't make sense for him to argue that between the 7th and 8th. He would be doing Missouri st. a favor in that case.
IMO the game should have just picked up this morning or early afternoon when the delay happened in the 4th. When they made the decision to pick it back up the first time, they pretty much committed to finishing the game.

There were a few major lapses for whoever controls which camera is on screen. Once they switched pitchers and showed the overhead view (I guess you'd call it)- I thought he was still taking practice pitches but he struck a guy out and inning was over boom and we didn't even see the pitch.

They were going to not start the 8th at all. The rain had started. From what Lump was said.
It's easier to hit in the rain than field also.
I get why Arkansas wanted to continue and not burn more Pitching even if just 1.

Their jerseys are Adidas things and hideous. I would've never used them but G let's them pick what they want to wear. The only jersey I designed for them was a maroon button up that had Maroon SMS with white number on front and Maroon number on back.
I don't think we ever wore them vs Arkansas, just usually the Saturday jerseys.

Seems like every time there's no tv listing on the bracket, it's on SECN. Same story when Arkansas was on SECN
