I used to hate this mother fricker with the passion of a thousand burning suns when he was at UF. Deep down, I think I was just jealous that he wasn't our HBC. Spurrier should've been one of the greatest VOLS ever imo.
He will definitely be missed when he finally hangs it up.

Everyone did. Then he went to South Carolina where he can only do so much damage to the league. He's more of a thorn in your side than a legitimate powerhouse like he was at UF.

As much as I hate all things Florida I respect the hell out of spurrier

Part of why I love the guy. As good as an HC as he is he'll sometimes let that "fan" inside of him out. He doesn't forget when specific teams lay it on him and loves to return the favor if possible.
