I think the SEC is the best, but the Big 10 has some cathedrals as well.

Not too many 15,000 seat baseball parks in the SEC. We didn't set NCAA records in attendance in a minor league park

Either way you will enjoy your time at Faurot.

not because of the stadium, but simply because playing us is almost surely a W

Akron thinks otherwise.

We gotta catch up on the 100,000+ seat stadiums. Tennessee and Alabama are there and I think this LSU expansion will get LSU there.

I've been to games at the Big House, The Shoe and Happy Valley. Nice stadiums, but old and somewhat worn.

Not only that but they seriously lie about attendance. The claim sellouts all the time when, in fact, there are tons of empty seats.

Especially at Michigan where the seats on each side of the press box tower are almost always empty because there are obstructed fields of view in those corners.

ETA: I know a lot of talk is going around about bricking up the facades on the west and east of DWS but I hope they leave them painted white and bare. I'm a nostalgia nut and I like the old school look of our white skeleton attached to the new expansion.

I'm pretty sure we are bricking up the West side facade this expansion (it's a partial bricking in, not completely covering with brick like the new expansion). However, there have been so many renditions of our expansion that I don't know if the bricked one was part of the latest. There were never any plans to brick the East side that I know of.

SEC Stadiums: The finest in the country?
Yes they are and the finest football in the country is played in them also.

My love for BDS, the UA Campus and T-Town knows no boundaries. I told my wife when I pass on please take a hand full of my ashes and sprinkle on the edge of the field at BDS and outside the North endzone where the Walk of Champions takes place by the statues.

What ever ashes are left over just take them to any of the mens restroom inside BDS because I have spent enough time in line waiting to use them....

100,000+ SEC Stadiums (currently)
Tennessee
Alabama

Soon:
LSU (2014)
A&M ?

Not sure if UGA, UF, AU, USCE have the logistics to increase to 100k.
But of the 14 SEC stadiums, I believe 8 are close to 90,000. Only the BIG10 comes anywhere close.

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium's north lawn is really nice and open with lots of trees. The west side expansion is nice and clean and modern-looking. The south and east sides are dumpy.

There is talk of building condos/officesinto the circle ramps at Bryant Denny.

Would be a huge money maker.
