Yes it was quite loud during the game, but it did get rather quiet really fast after this :
And when I said myth, I was referring to the fact that y'all almost never lose in DV at night, and was riding a 30 something winning streak, until last year.

Bama fans insecurity ruins threads.

Losing 1 game dispells the "myth" that we "almost never lose in DV at night"? If anything that shows we still "almost never lose in DV at night", we just happened to lose 1 game.

The project calls for about 5,200 extra bleacher seats and 800-900 premium seats at the football stadium. The structure will be built outside the current bowl footprint of the stadium. The current capacity of Memorial Stadium is 71,004.
Nice link!

Gotcha. Thought you meant stadium crowd size.
Yep we have been pretty good at home since '08, losing only to #1 Florida in '09 and ya'll in '12 in maybe the best game in DV for pre-game hype and build-up, atmosphere, tenseness, loudness, etc since USC '79.
Jesus, either Alleman makes the FG or one more first down and we take a knee and the entire bowl scenario and rankings would have been totally different.

Just to clarify, losing 2 games in the last 6 seasons at home to 2 top 5 teams destroys the myth of that team's stadium. Correct?

Do you know what the capacity for 2014 will be? I know UK already started cutting down one of the upper-decks...

What I took away from this is that A&M has the best fans, and Mizzou is better than Arkansas.

I'm not 100% sure. I know that the Spring game capacity will be limited to about 42,500 people which significantly less than we had in attendance last Spring.

I knew you wouldn't be finished adding in the premium seating, but I had seen in the expansion thread that UK had started on the reduction...so I figured I'd go with 61K...in 2015, it'll just be a different 61K. Less general seating, more premium seats.

Less student seating as well. They're reducing student seating from 9,000 to 6,000 and putting them in a more compact area around our new recruiting room observation deck.
