Not exactly 2 good examples, the product both of those teams have put on the field the past couple of years has not been to their normal quality.

The empty seats in the upper corner are the students who can't sell their tickets or who overflow into the lower sections instead. Not due to a lack of demand.

We would still sell out big games. I doubt the bullshite games would get 100k, but most would.

Depending on which of the supposed 4 plans to build the 4th side there are for TAMU, I'm looking forward to seeing what our new capacity numbers will look like. 110ish maybe?
from what i heard, it is more likely to be around 93k-95k

Ya, i guess 93-95k would make sense if they go heavy on the suites. Which wouldn't surprise me .

makes more sense. thats were the profits are made. and extra seats could be added for big games. id rather have it in the 90k's and fill up than have it in the 100k's and have empty spots

Right, I understand that. The point is, with more seating capacity come more student with tickets who cannot sell them. It just seems like it becomes counter productive to get more seats, then let hipster students get them and not be able to sell them because they do not go to the games anyway.

They pack the student section by the band like sardines. Those who want to sit down there and can't get a seat end up upstairs with the frat stars. That combined with the greeks who haven't finished that bourbon coke are the reasons the 300's look empty. By 10:00 in the 1st it's usually filled out pretty good. Still sucks though.

TAMU will most likely be something around 95k, with the option to go to about 101 - 102k for bigger games when they open up the plaza, similar to Cowboys stadium.

not my choice, he was the one saying it. he also actually said alabama too. i think he was emphasizing how those schools now found themselves devoting more time and resources trying to sell out a bigger stadium and cover those costs because while their stadium gets bigger demand seems to be dropping off for everyone. so basically they are saying UGA is doing pretty well now for what we have and if it ain't broke don't fix it.

also, they aren't terrible examples because while both have really kinda sucked, mainly tenneseee, they both have more recent title appearances and wins. hell, texas has probably had the same amount of success as us if not more and if they have to work to fill a 100,000 stadium UGA doesn't probably feel like wasting their time. IMO that's just kinda how UGA does it

see, i am kinda in between. i have always wanted a 100,000+ stadium and having been to a few now i cannot deny how great it would be. i really want it for noise and i kinda wanna close the bridge up a little bit to help keep sound in better. but then i realize that we could probably fill a 100,000 stadium but as tween said probably not regularly. we'd probably have to drop prices and it'd cost an arm and a leg and now that i have thought about it after that dude's presentation i see where UGA wouldn't wanna deal with it.

just keep making the current set up more bad arse

Bama has the very same problem. There are always empty seats in the upper deck student section. They all pack into every spot possible in the lower section.

Can't say that I blame them, but it really looks bad on TV.

The north endzone will look identical to the south endzone after OM's expansion. I'm not sure if it will happen within the next two years though.

Gotya, that would make y'all's Stadium look a good bit nicer. OM fans have always told me that you can tell by looking that Vaught Hemingway was built in three different sections

The south endzone seats need to be completely torn down. They look rough.

I think you're referring to the north endzone, which are the bleachers currently under the jumbo-tron.

The new additions will mirror the south end of the stadium.

UGA needs to add on to the Endzone that currently does not have an upper deck.
I know yall have a road going near there. But you could build something around that road and make it apart of the stadium. Kinda like Yawkey Way with Fenway.

have it be a tunnel through the stadium during non-gamedays, just a regular street(with an overhead clearence). During games it can act as a concourse.

It would be so
