3. A&M

You know how South Carolina is playing the three teams to participate in the title games the last two years? Yeah, well so is A&M, and the Aggies are playing both Clemson and Georgia on the road. The reason for the (slight) difference in overall SOS here is that the Aggies will play Lamar, UTSA and Texas State in the nonconference along with Clemson.

And, we also play LSU in BR and Auburn.

Somebody at CBS is not informed.

5 of the east teams don't have to play bama either. Bama just lucks out by getting Tennessee every year from the east.

Da frick you talking about? The only team Bama ever plays (and loses to) is Bama.

Hell, Bama beat itself in the NC game by 4 touchdowns.

I'm curious to know where Alabama's SOS ranks at the end of every year. Where can I find that info?

Their (Alabama’s) spring game should count in the rankings.

Bama has proven time and time again that SOS has no bearing on your chance of making the playoffs. Not sure why teams even schedule difficult OOC opponents at this point.

Yet nobody argued that when TN kept beating them in the 90's.

You *should* be better than this...

1) 5 other teams in the SEC don't play them
2) Georgia doesn't play Georgia *or* Bama in the regular season and yet is #2 on the list.

This has been my counterargument to Kirby's desire to schedule aggressive Home&Homes of late... We'll see if something changes, but thus far, the committee has basically deferred to W/L record and only looks at SOS as a secondary or lower perspective.

Alabama was an either undefeated or 1-loss SEC Champion in 4 of the 5 seasons they made the CFB Playoff (2014, 2015, 2016, 2018). So by time and time again I assume you mean....... one time?

Top 30 Sagarin Wins going into Bowls
2018 - 6
2017 - 3
2016 - 7
2015 - 8
2014 - 8

Top 10 Wins going into Bowls
2018 - 2
2017 - 0
2016 - 2
2015 - 1
2014 - 2

Alabama is 67-5 in the CFBP Era against the following schedules

2018 - #9
2017 - #27
2016 - #1
2015 - #1
2014 - #2

Alabama is 12-6 vs the Top 10 and 38-6 vs the Top 30.

LSU is 4-10 vs the Top 10 and 14-17 vs the Top 30.

In conclusion, suck balls.

Bama is due for a break. They always played a huge name in the opener til no team will play them anymore. And last year they played in the league: A&M, LSU, AU, UGA and Clemson and Oklahoma outside it. Our last 4 games were AU, UGA, OU and Clemson in a row. Nobody has ever done that...nobody.

I’m not reading all that but I’m assuming you’re ignoring the part where I mentioned OOC games specifically.

This article came out this time last year and this guy had Alabama's schedule ranked #2.

2018 SEC SOS article by whoever this guy is

Alabama's SOS over the last decade has averaged at least top 10 in the country.

Getting Duke in the Chick-Fil-A game this year was pretty underwhelming. And of course Tennessee being unable to get its act together.
