Not that you said it (but many SEC homers did)....was Bama screwed at #8 or is Az State that good?

I'd say Bama was screwed at 8. ASU isn't a slouch by any means, but Bama also has a completely new pitching staff basically from last year.
Just some nerves early I think.
EDIT: ASU up 4-2 on Bama in the 2nd.

ASU is pretty decent.
Bama may have been a little screwed during seeding but so what. Overcome and win.
I'm not big on the bitching about refs/seeding bullshite.

Don’t take this the wrong way...ASU finished 34-18 and 13-11 in the PAC12, which is a great conference. But they were swept by Zona, UCLA and Washington. I guess their “best” win was splitting 2 against Texas. Not basing anything on 3rd inning results, but Bama will have to play better down the road.

I wasn't making an excuse for Bama. Bama should be wiping the floor with this team IMO.
No doubt. Could easily be 5-3 or worse right now.
