Of course at the end their delusion comes out. Clemson would be a top program in every conference including the SEC.

You're seriously jealous because a satirical video was made about us and not y'all. Unbelievable.

I bet clemson fans would be the only fanbase to get mad if SEC Shorts poked fun at their team or savior

Maybe, but we weren't going to go back to the ACC after leaving. Both our basketball and football teams were actually doing pretty damn well just a 1 year so before we left. The situation with the conference had grown that bad.

Serious question: What happened? I don't know the story and have always been curious.

It's ironic how both the ACC and SEC have benefitted because South Carolina/Georgia Tech left the other conference.

The North Carolina schools gave themselves recruiting advantages that they didn’t want to give to the South Carolina schools regarding admissions

So South Carolina said frick y’all and left

If I recall correctly - and it's entirely possible I do not - South Cackalacky went independent for a season or two before ending up in the SEC.

And I'm glad they're here. I've worked in lower SC - good peeps, good food. Never seen a game there. I guess if I took a set of ear-plugs I could skip the Sand Storm.

We left the ACC in 1971 and we remained independent until joining the SEC in 1991.

South Carolina was close in 2010 (not that they almost beat Auburn, but were in the championship game and therefor were one game away from a conference title). Bad luck to face the best Auburn team of the past 30+ years against you.
To be fair that same South Carolina team also got smoked by Arkansas. There were three teams in the West that would have beaten SCar in the Championship that year, IMO.

Yeah well nobody has invited you so it really doesn't matter now does it? We don't need nor want another Auburn.
