....and then some of these "storied history" fans on here live in the past. No one gives a shite about past accomplishments, but rather present. Nubraska fans are beginning to understand this...Saban agrees with me.

Is that better or worse than not a lot of wins and nothing to show for it?

depends i guess. i'm not one for morale victories and looks at losses as a success, but LSU did make it to the SECCG under a first year head coach during a complete rebuild. I can live with that, now that we have some roster momentum built back up near standards.

Watching all of these schools play in the SECCG was really...

Oh wait...nevermind. One of these is not like the other two.

What is this past/present cutoff? Does it vary to help a narrative?

Feel free to list present championships also…..

Dude I know 2019 is sooooo long ago!!

Surely Mizzou has a championship more recent than that.

You can go back as long as you want. You won’t find either an SEC ship appearance. Nattys. Maybe they have some from 60 years ago but they’ve won nothing of relevance in 50 years.

Make the call to college station. They can tell you where to get cups and t-shirts printed.

This is such an Ole Miss post.

"Teams who have done X and Y on the second Tuesday of each month, but counting only months of 30 days or less! CHECKMATE"

It's just insecurity.

Still better than some teams holding on to what they did 20-40 years ago, as justification to their awesomeness.

Looking at you Tennessee and Oklahoma

Ole Miss over the past three seasons

29-10

Tennessee over the past three seasons

30-9

That's a weird flex, saying they have to rely on ancient history to be better than Ole Miss, but you do you.

Some UT fan needs to make a thread titled

"TEAMS WHO HAVE 30 OR MORE WINS SINCE 2022"

Ole Miss wouldn't be on it, and Tennessee would

As most successful Coaches will tell you...this season is the only one that matters. Saban knew this and preached it.

Historical Natty discussions etc are for non athletic fans to argue about and attempt to feel superior to other fanbases despite having absolutely nothing to do with the actual record. I congratulate the schools that win, and then move on. Insecure fan types need to bring it up over and over and over while we simply ignore them.

You guys should hang the banner in Vaught Hemingway just like you did with the SEC Co West Champs banner.

5 years
Ole Miss - 44-17
UT - 37-22

10 years
Ole Miss - 66-56
UT - 62-60

15 years
Ole Miss - 100-88
UT - 96-90
