Seems like the SEC is a lot more thuggish recently. You've got LSU players being kicked off the team for drugs, Jordan Jefferson going around stomping guys heads in, Georgia suspending most of their defense for 2 or 3 games earlier in the season for God knows what, Auburn players robbing trailer parks at gun point.Seems like most of the major SEC coaches have lost control of their programs and it's giving the conference a bad image nationally.I'm pretty tired of it. You don't have to recruit thugs to win, just look at Alabama. We've hardly had any arrests under Saban and still manage to win.

Yep, bunch of thugs. Southern thugs. Just the culture of society now. Should have nipped it in the bud years ago.

If Nicky is such a great "life changer", why cann't he stop his own daughter from getting in bitch fights? Or his son from being a dork? But if you honestly think your good Christians football players are not smoking weed, you are incredibly naive. OR stupid. Or trolling like we all know you are.

Smoking a blunt mainly. Other suspensions in the Richt era include:

-backing into a parked car in a parking garage
-not paying a speeding ticket
-giving a false name after shooting off fireworks
-touching a pregnant girl's belly
-taking someone's scooter helmet
-passing out drunk in the Amici's bathroom
-driving the wrong way on a scooter down a 1 way street (the section in question turns from 2 way into 1 way for about 50 yards)
Was it Mettenburger that touched the pregnant girl's belly. I thought he was grabbing boobs and butts.

2. Frat boys need to be put in their place

OP, drop down to page 3 or 4, thread bout "How many players on your team smokes weed", by Hugo. Seems like 100% of the bama posters there are more realistic than you & admit to what everyone else around the league knows: smoking weed is done by players from every SEC school. There are even multiple comments that Nicky knows bout it, encourages it over drinking/driving.

Saint Nick and his players, like his daughter, are untouchable. They don't get busted cause the tiny kingdom of Tuscaloosa would let that happen to their players. Saban handles everything in house because after all he is "Above the Law"

If coached by Saban they would be going to Church...

Maybe there is a church close by...

Nick Saban's comments on the arrest of three of his football players outside a bar in Tuscaloosa.
Saban acknowledges Alabama needs to address off-field issues .sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?
Two players were arrested in a span of six days, .coach Nick Saban still often finds himself dealing with Bama's bad behavior. With eight players arrested since Saban's arrival in T-town.

Gump logic.. "drugs make thugs".

I am not trolling, just tired of the SEC getting such a bad national image with so many players being arrested.Sure we've won 6 NC's in a row but at what cost?We need more coaches in the league like Saban who know how to run a tight ship and win while putting discipline first.

I'm not saying that Bama doesn't recruit thugs, I'm saying that Saban is a life changer. He puts these kids on the right path and shows them how to be great men.

I guarantee that if Crowell had signed with Bama that he'd be going to church every Sunday, have a 3.8+ gpa, and rings on his fingers.

Is this real life?
