175 seems a very weird cutoff point. 200 I get, 150 I get, 100 I get. 175? Seems the OP wants the stats to exclude some.

Sure he does.

Why didn’t he do 300+ yard games?

Oh....

We know.

3 Kenny Irons (RB-Auburn)

One of those was against LSU in Tiger Stadium. Before the game he looked into an ESPN camera and said, "I'm going to rush for 200!" And he did.

Not too long afterwards, Irons was seen carrying a large piece of luggage in an airport. Someone asked what he had in there and he said, "I got a midget in here to suck my dick."

Ahhhh. Good to reminisce about the legends that represent your alma mater.

I wish there was knee transplant surgery for this guy when he was in college. I loved watching him tote the rock.

One of the most talented, humble guys to ever play the game. Love having him on our staff.

It is truly amazing the amount of Badass RBs the SEC has had. Loved watching all of them.

Really gives you an idea of how great McFadden was.

I'll never forget McFadden. I remember playing Arky, jumping out to a big lead. Now most teams just start passing when they fall behind multiple scores, but not Arky. They staged a comeback just handing the ball off, and gaining 9, 10, 12 yards a pop. D Mac had wore our d down and Bama was very fortunate to win that game.

I honestly went with 175 because it included more players and it obviously had more occurrences.

I was originally going to do 200+ but only 4 players have done it more than once.

Alas... I present to you "SEC RBs who have rushed for 200+ yards in an SEC game since 2005," brought to you by, extremely sensitive posters of the SEC Rant

4 Derrick Henry (RB-Alabama)
3 Derrius Guice (RB-LSU)
3 Darren McFadden (RB-Arkansas)
2 Leonard Fournette (RB-LSU)

I hope this hurts less feelings now...

Care to explain to the class why I didn't do 300+ yard games? I'm genuinely curious on your thoughts..

Trivia for you: How many 300+ yard games do you think have happened in conference play since 2005?

masterful.

So, Ive known DDawg since the summer before his freshman year. I worked with him at Elks Lodge- He was with the cleaning crew that was there in the mornings when i opened. Keith Kidd's crew (old Hog/Viking WR).Made all them dudes many burgers and steaks. Anyway, I always told him he'd be the next Reggie Bush and he would be like, "Man, whatever. This dude." If anything he ended up way better.

Saw him at the Spring game a few years back and he pulled me and my son to the sideline for the whole second half. THAT was awesome.

After 200, the natural go to would've been 150. Just don't see many stats bragging about how many times they topped 175. There is a reason why a big deal is made of hitting .400 or .300 as opposed to .325 or .375. There is a reason why getting hit 3000 is more significant than 2750. There is a reason why 30 points and 10 rebounds and 10 assists is made more of than 32 points 11 rebounds and 7 assists.

Then start your own thread about it instead of complaining about in someone else’s thread.

You are welcome to make your own thread with your own stats brother.

If I would have did 200+ we would have lost the potential discussions about Lattimore and Kenny Irons.

You said I was trying to exclude people when I was actually trying to include a few more to help with discussion, and it worked out that it was 10 guys with 3+ games. Sorry this bothers you.

Darren McFadden and Felix Jones both set their career high rushing totals against South Carolina.. in the same game.

Corey Boyd, before that game, stated that he was a better running back that McFadden or Jones.

You need to go back and count again. It was definitely 68.

It is a shame both Dixon and Norwood had to play the majority of their careers under Croom. They could have put up some special numbers had they played during Mullen's time.
