I'm a Gen-X'er with a wife and four kids (a future doctor, an engineer, and two works in progress). Started my college career at LSU but focused too much on partying. Been an LSU football fan since birth but graduated from another university with a BSEE.
I'm an IT consultant. Throughout my career I have worked in every area of IT except application development. Currently, a cyberthreat hunter in the energy industry. I have traveld some but not nearly enough. I hope I still have opportunities before I turn back to dust.
I like my family, technology, science, documentaries about almost anything, history, music, and college football. Attended my first LSU game in 1977 (against Florida), saw Wes Chandler play for the Gators. Got hooked on CFB and have never let up.
I am mellowing with age and have a far greater appreciation for all things in life. I am grateful for my loving, loyal wife, my four healthy children, for political freedom, air conditioning, football games on Saturdays, YouTube, courageous US military personnel, nurses (the nicest people on the planet), Gulf shrimp, comfortable beds, and this web site.
