Sure, why not.
I'm 42, and work in IT. Been working on computers since I was just a kid. Live in Virginia these days, in the valley. Married, no kids - just pets.

I'm 42. I was born in Athens and graduated from UGA. My wife, parents, one sister, several cousins, aunts, and uncles went to UGA. One uncle played for Vince Dooley's first team. My grandfather taught at UGA and my grandmother had to go to the Normal School for women since UGA didn't accept them back in those days. I bleed red & black and still get the sads when I think about the 2018 title game.

I work in the hospitality industry. We've been building up our remote fleet, and so yeah - the IT dept has been insanely busy this whole time as we make it so that at least 20-30% of our work force can work from home. We've been deemed essential by the company, so even if Virginia tells everyone to stay home, I'll be working. Hopefully it won't come to that - we're taking advantage by doing things that would otherwise bring down whole systems (like completely gutting and rearranging networking cabinets, etc). My specialty is Infrastructure Management (Network Engineering, Technical Support, Project Management, you name it - but not on the coding side of things).

Hell yeah it is. Food, beer/wine/cider - whatever your preferred poison, scenery, and the people. It's an amazing area.
The politicians in NoVA try to ruin the state, but we remain blissfully isolated from the toxic cloud that hovers over DC.

54 years old, war profiteering engineer from Atlanta...rejected from both UGA and The North Avenue Trade School out of high school so went into the building trades and attended night school at Southern Tech and trade school at Atlanta Area Tech simultaneously for 6 and 4 years respectively.
Became a UGA fan when my Dad took me to a Tech Clemson game when I was 7 and I sat behind an I-beam column which blocked the view of the field....I knew then they weren't good engineers at Tech.
Displaced southerner...have only lived in Gods Country 14 months out of the last 164 months and I am ready to come home!
I have been working in the Defense / Nuclear Energy / Nuclear Weapon industry most of my adult life and now do consulting work for the highest bidder amongst those 3 regardless of their intended use of my work product. Who am I to judge?
Been fortunate enough to live abroad for long stretches and work on projects in some of the best fishing locations in the tropics.
Enjoy offshore fishing, shooting anything with wings attached, floating western rivers in a drift boat with the long rod and a solid supply of whiskey and good cigars.
Happily married to my best friend who did not marry near as well as me and I have 2 kids who I worship but I don't remember a whole lot about how they came to be....

Chicks dig me, because I rarely wear underwear. And when I do, it's usually something unusual.

Anything like a Jolt Cola??? Those things were better than black RJSs back in the day....one Jolt Cola, 3 Black Beauties and even a fat kid could get through 2 a days in July without a problem!
