Well they had one first round pick on defense

Definitely in the top group but it is hard to separate them when they aren't playing with equal talent. I also like Mattison, Foster, and of course Kirby.
Kirby N/A! Once he gets his hands out of Sabans back pockets and wipes his nose off and proves himself on his own then you can't say he is one of the top DC!

That literally means nothing. Your argument has gone nowhere fast. Quick, start a thread about the decline of LSU football.

Pelini has been a great HC and he had the same level of confidence, Smart has been with Saban longer than Pelini was

This guy is a trolling alter. He is not one of ours.

So if Saban was HC at LSU, Chavis would no longer be the best?

We had more studs on defense than they did. I don't see how a person can be so blind.

No butt hurt. I am having a great day. I pity your stupidity.

Really?
Ok I'll play
2012
All the same people plus
Dee Milliner (drafted in the 1st)
Jesse Williams (gonna start for Seattle)
Damion Square (should've been drafted, gonna start for Philly)

He's trolling Bama and LSU. Ignore him. Ra him.

Of course not. But you're a trolling alter. I've seen enough of them.

Different group? Or am I thinking of the McLain bunch? So much talent

If you are going by just defensive coordinator, then I wouldn't argue against Chavis. Chavis basically runs his defense without a whole lot of help. Kirby on the other hand, while he does call the plays and has a big hand in the preparation, runs Saban's defense with a lot of input from Saban.
Now if you want to ask who is the greatest defensive mind in college football, I'm going with Saban hands down.

That wasn't 2012 D that was 2011 D dreaux
2012's D was a lot younger than LSU...but put up better stats
