We just had one of our backups transfer so It got me wondering what the QB situation around the league is gonna be next year?

Im just pulling these from random depth charts from the interwebs so please excuse any typos.

Alabama - Tua Revenge of the Pineapple Express
Arkansas - Ty Storey / Cole Kelly and or Transfer?
Auburn - Malik Willis, Joey Gatewoodm and or Cord Sandberg
Florida - Franks, Jones, Transfer or Freshman?
Georgia - Jake Fromm / Justin Fields
Kentucky - Terry Wilson
LSU - Joe Burrow, Miles Brennan or TBD?
Miss State - K. Thompson
Ole Miss - Matt Corall or Transfer / Freshman
Mizzou - Taylor Powell, Micah Wilson or Transfer / Freshman
South Carolina - Jake Bentley (Jesus Christ hasn't this kid been there a decade?)
Tennessee - Guarantano, Chryst, McBride?
Texas A&M - Mond, Starkell
Vanderbilt - Mo Hasan

Missouri losing Lock, Vandy losing Kyle Shurmur, Ole Miss Losing the other Hawaiian, and Miss State losing Fitz all seem like pretty big departures.

If we don't land Bryant, we will for sure going the transfer route. We can't survive another year of Storey/Kelley. Noland may start, or we might just throw freshman KJ Jefferson into the mix, which is unlikely but possible.

Maybe. Honestly though I thought he was a senior for some reason

Texas A&M - Mond, Starkell

I actually hope this gets shaken up a bit, whether it's Starkel getting a look or an existing or incoming freshman at some point.

Jimbo stuck with Mond and to Mond's defense he showed up vs Clemson and in late-4th/OT vs LSU. But his consistency, release and decision time has left a lot to be desired.

Stidham won’t be back. It’ll be Malik Willis or transfer (Kelly Bryant)

I agree, while Mond did a great job late in the 4th and OT, I can definitely see how frustrating he probably was for A&M fans. He certainly has an absolute cannon of an arm, but Jimbo is going to have his hands fulls and I would assume would be looking for better alternatives in the off season.

most think Stidham is gone. Grad transfer or testing the NFL waters.

Mond is going to be the starter next year, and he’s going to one of the better QBs in the conference.

stronger than it was supposed to be this year? Not sure I can agree with that. Coming into this year we knew Tua was good, we knew Lock was good, and most people believed Ta'aumu was good. Additionally, most people believed Stidham and Fitzgerald were going to be good. It appeared to be one of the stronger QB classes we've had in a long time. Well, Ta'aumu, Fitz, and Lock are definitely gone, Stidham turned out not to be the player we thought, and Fromm seems to be pretty average. Honestly, the only QB in the league you can say right now is going to be good next year is Tua. The rest of the schools have huge question marks and/or guys that have yet to prove themselves as good QBs in this league.

Chryst's eligibility has run out.
J.T. Shrout will be 2nd on the depth chart behind Geronimo.
McBride will battle with whoever signs in the '19 class for the 3rd spot.

The top 3 QBs in QBR this year will be back next year (Tua, Fromm, and Bentley).

Jimbo loves him some Mond. He'll be the starter next year.

Starkel will likely transfer.

Franks, E Jones, J Jones

Hopefully one of the Jones boys can break into the starting position as they are more of a scheme fit. Jalon will be a beast
