What two teams are you putting in front of LSU to keep them out of your top 5 power rankings?

Ive never seen that angle, back when I played we called that "spearing" and it was a penalty. Not saying they would have or should have called that but damn what a freak injury

I don't mind giving credit to Texas where it's due. Your team did come back and beat Ohio State. However, it was a little eyebrow-raising to see only a 30-6 win against UTSA.
Georgia has not left any doubt so far. Neither has Alabama except for the first half vs Kentucky and Florida State.
I left Texas at #2 in my opinion ranking because of the Ohio State win. If it were not for that, Texas would probably be #5-#7.

thats fair, the offense didn't look amazing against UTSA given their D.

I have no problem with that, but I do want to say that Bama Georgia and Texas are in any order 1a 1b 1c, and then the conference drops off a bit after those 3.

We’ll see after this weekend… LSU hasn’t won a road SEC game in 2 calendar years. 7 straight Ls

Until that happens LSU shouldn’t be in the top half of the conference

I think some teams aren’t as good as their record suggests at this point. As they play each other some early darlings will end up being below average.

1. UGA
2. Bama
3. Texas
4. Tennessee
5. Miss
6. LSU
7. Missouri
8. Oklahoma
9. UF
10. UK
11. A&M
12. MSU
13. Auburn
14. VAndy
15. SC
16. Arky

We are a very weird team. We can be very g[d or awful as hell. This year will be a rollercoaster for sure.

16. Arky

The above ranking is a projection for the end of the year. But if we're looking at what teams have earned on the field it would be more like this.

1 Bama
2 UGA
3 Texas
4 Tennessee
5 MSU
6 OU
7 UK
8 Mizzou
9 UF
10 Ole Miss
11 LSU
12 A&M
13 Auburn
14 Vandy
15 Arky
16 SC

The first 3 are undefeated in conference.
The next 4 have one conference loss to one of the undefeated teams.
The next 3 have one conference loss to a non-undefeated team.
Then come the 2 loss teams, then the 0-2 and 0-3 teams

No team is ranked ahead of a team they lost to.
