Just for posterity sake for the resident retards

Sources: SEC suspends referee in wake of Georgia-Auburn game
Mark Schlabach

The Southeastern Conference has suspended longtime referee Ken Williamson for the remainder of the season in the wake of his crew's performance in Georgia's 20-10 victory at Auburn on Oct. 11, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday.

Williamson's suspension was first reported by Yellowhammer News.

Also, journalism is dead. Permanent suspension is just getting fired. Indefinite suspension is what I'm going to assume they were looking for

Yep. That phrasing made the story seem even faker than the name of the source itself.

You know what amuses me? That you and these other idiot Auburn fans have whined for 18 pathetic pages on this thread about this whole ridiculous issue.

Look dude, I care about the price of wooden Bulgarian stomach pumps in northern Bulgaria more than I care about some officiating crew getting suspended for making some bad calls in a game. It happens, but changes nothing. Newsflash; UGA WON THE FREAKUN GAME. That's reality. I'm sorry your little pacifier-sucking feelings are hurt, but its time to swallow a truth pill and accept it. UGA won. MIght as well move on, because everyone else has.

Just trying to save you anymore embarrassment.

I’m not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but I could have sworn Penn went to the ACC review booth when he left the SEC.

Hey pussified dumbass... read this article. Its from a game played ages ago where an entire crew got suspended for making a bad call against UGA vs GT on a fumble by our RB that probably cost us the game.

Do you think this is the first time this sort of thing has happened? Has it stopped refs from making bad calls in games since then and set some sort of precedent? The answer is NO. I rest my cost Your Honor.

Meanwhile, Auburn prepares to play at Arkansas this week.

Wasn't there some huge controversy between Ark/Aub for a ref call a few years ago that lingered on and on?

Auburn always seems to find themselves drama unless they pull off some miracle at the end of the game...

Go Hawgs.

If only Auburn had tried this hard in the second half of the game.

Did you go back to the Way Back Machine to get that one must still sting to have that so handy in the hip pocket. With replay, there’s no excuse for what was witnessed in the AU/UGA game period. Williamson seems like a fall guy because he’s “retiring” at end of year but all, including Bham review should be held to account.

You're right, there's no excuse. UGA should have been given another TD to make the score 27-10. But I'm not going to whine about for two freakun weeks like you and the other pathetic Auburn posters on here.

This is probably hard for you to understand, but the point of me posting that old article was to let you know that refs have been suspended before for making bad calls. Its happened for a long, long time. Has it stopped refs from making bad calls today? This will change nothing. So, enough pathetic-ness...time to move on.

Lmao you pompous frick, UGA had 4 guys lined up in the f’ing neutral zone on this exact play. It’s either:
1. A dead ball foul and half the distance goal to go or
2. A free play with neutral zone infraction/defensive offsides with half the distance and goal to go.
At no point is it ever a GA TD on a turnover.

Well. The math is just wrong. If the UGA TD was given as it should have been. Then the halftime score most likely would have been 10-7; nit 10-3. Dawgs scored 17 in The 2nd half. So the final should have been 24-10; it would not have been 27-10.

You can be in the neutral zone as a defender and the OP is showing an image before the snap - when it's legal.

Offsides / NZ is not re-viewable and is not the Refs call, it’s the line judges call as is the TD or not a TD.

You would probably say it was legal too if it was a photo after the ball was snapped

And you were saying?

I was saying I wanted to see it verified by other sources before I believed it. Especially the part of a “permanent suspension”. Looks like it’s just the rest of the season though

Cannot care less to be honest. Is Georgia done spending 18 pathetic pages trying to pretend they were ackshully the ones robbed that game?

Nobody gives a frick about Georgia anymore.
