Even with the opt outs Florida shouldn't be getting stomped this bad against Oklahoma

and this is supposed to be the 2nd/3rd best team?

This Sooner team is a very young, rebuilding team. They're just babies out there. Consider that...

The good news? Florida is a distant at best third team in the SEC.

They lost to LSU in 2020. They lost to A&M.

That is embarrassing on its own.

Getting skull fricked by the best Big 12 team is expected

nice to see florida get shite on but the florida team that played bama would have probably beat OU in a shootout

I think we as fans are forgetting that Florida probably didn't care very much. I know its a played out line but I mean look at them. Oklahoma isn't exactly a world beater.

Hopefully we’ll be back stronger next year as a conference. This should definitely be a wake up call though

I believe that. But your season was still shite compared to the talent you have, which is more than we have.

Lol no. This game wasn’t close. They were only missing 6 players from the Bama game. This game would have gone to Oklahoma regardless

so they wouldn’t have scored more than 20 points with their top 4 receiving threats?

It does no good to indulge in the hypotheticals here, but a few of their touchdowns were on interceptions that probably wouldn't have been intercepted with their better receivers. Oh well. on to the next game, the rest of the SEC better not embarrass us (looking at you Aggie).

Yea they probably would have. Not enough to win that game though. That was complete dominance

Well it didn’t help that some UF players wanted to talk shite about OU leading up to the game. That made sure OU was plenty motivated for this game.

Florida’s entire offensive output opted out or wasn’t there except for Trask. All of their points on the season, so I expected a loss - just not quitting

And FL run defense has been trash all year

Florida lost to a really shitty LSU team late in the season. The same LSU team barely beat a team coached by an Oline coach riddled with Covid and with the help of the refs. Doesn't surprise me.

Agreed the shite talking was stupid. As far as the game they got their arse kicked. No excuses ...opt outs, injuries, whatever. The team lost just like my boys lost to Bama and UF. Depth matters, culture matters, everything matters so an L is an L. Trust me as a guy that has waited since 1980, you just freaking show up as a fan and hope for the best. Lol

Meh, Florida was up and down all season. Mullens career has been that way. I said when he was hired and I'll say it again, he's a 9-3 coach. Never will be any better. It didn't help with all those opt outs but I still think Mullen is just ok as a coach. Didn't he get state to number one only to lose like 3 of his last 4 that year?
