In case anyone is wondering, what the Volol is failing to omit is that the refs took away an obvious TD we had on the play before.

I'd also like to correct myself for realizing this error. He didn't fail to omit it. He successfully omitted it.

Play should have never happened. The Gamecocks scored a TD on the previous play but shitty officiating ruined that.

The better team, program, and state won that game.

From that video I can't really tell what happened.

From watching live and replays after he clearly fumbled.

Sure, the ball is loose, but where do you see the UT player get possession ? That's what isn't clear. You can't tell if the USCe player regains possession or loses it again, before or after forward progress is stopped.

Show me the ball coming out and a Tennessee player grabbing it. You can’t. You see the bobble at the beginning, he regains control, and then nothing. The rest is speculation based on what you believe happened based on the Tennessee player 10 seconds later coming out with the ball.

This, all day long. Not sure why this continues to be debated.

Officials on the field ruled that the USCe player had regained possession when his forward progress was stopped. There is zero video evidence to refute that. None.

Officials missed the fumble in the OP, the targeting call in the video a few posts posts above this one, a face mask on the sideline on either Chandler (1st string RB) or Jordan (2nd string RB) and multiple holding calls through out the game.

Cocks needed all of those things above to happen and almost zero calls to go against them in order to beat the most crippled/hodge podge roster UT will have for a very long time. It's almost laughable to see them beat their chests like this given where each program is at.

The fact the VOLS lost by 3 points during one of the worst officiated games that I've seen in a long time says a lot more about where South Carolina is at as a program under Muschamp then where UT is headed.

Everything else being equal, that's actually an awesome image from an aesthetic standpoint.

No, they didn't. Everyone knows there was a fumble. There is ZERO evidence that Tennessee recovered it, and not the USCe runner before forward progress was stopped. What happens after forward progress is stopped is irrelevant, as anyone who has watched more than 6 weeks of football knows.

There's a reason why no Vol fan has posted a screenshot with a UT player possessing the ball before forward progress was stopped.

Uh can you have this for 3 years straight? I mean youre a year removed from having that alien looking frick Dobbs and we still beat him with a 3-9 team muschamp inherited.

Bentley got "targeted" on the two-point conversion, but it was not called, of course.

Didn't realize until today that the Vols had 8 or 9 penalties

By far the sloppiest game VOLS have played this annum outside of the Florida game imo.

VOLS last 3 drives were 13 plays, 12 plays, and 10 plays iirc and they came away with 3 points total due to drive stalling penalties. Germy can’t have that when VOLS are already working with a razor thin margin for error

Go look at the last 7 meetings. It is always less than a touchdown.

Just the way it is.

That has never lost to UT.

Hell 14 of the games since 2000 have been by 7 points or less.
