Um, no.

They straight out said the refs messed up but the mess up was so bad there was no way to fix it.

What they should do but probably won't is suspend the crew. That early whistle cost Arky the game because AU was out of timeouts. Mistakes like that shouldn't go without consequences.

This image explains everything.

Ref is clearly blowing the play dead.

50/50 ball between Auburn and Arkansas.

Case closed.

I really don’t know why anyone is surprised. Shitty calls always go Aubie ‘s at JHS. Been that way for the past 20 years and will never change. It is a travesty that is rooted in the SEC ref culture.

This is 100% true. And they have some sort of fambly black magic there as well.

Correct. It's amazing that they keep trying to say there wasn't a recovery.

The ref anticipated what he thought was going to happen when he blew the whistle. You shouldn't be able to strip a team of a turnover in that situation.

Because the ref was blowing the whistle?

How hard is this to understand?

This is some of the dumbest shite I’ve ever seen here. An Arkansas beat reporter is angry? Well stop the presses.

The reason they are talking about all of the Arkansas and Auburn players standing around, not pursuing the ball isn’t because that is specifically in the rule book, it’s to illustrate what IS in the rule book regarding “immediate action”. The play was blown dead by multiple officials including one blowing the shite out of his whistle while signaling “incomplete pass”, the ball bounces off of while we see several plays on both sides follow his commands to stop. No telling what would have happened, but the play was dead at that point.

This is pathetic. You lost the game, move on. Take it up with your fatfrick coach our rapist enabling OC for failing to get a 1st down when you had a chance. Don't give the refs a chance to frick it up.
Refs frick up in every game at some point and I've never seen a game overturned on any level.

So Auburn earned a L yesterday because the dude fumbled a snap on a spike play?

Arkansas is trying to win on a technicality instead of stopping a team from driving down the field in the 4th quarter (get used to it with Odom).

Lol you silly mizzou fans. It's too bad LSU couldn't win yesterday too so you guys could get the rare all tiger dick ride going today.

He's the second one. The white hat at the bottom had already blown it dead, signaled incomplete, was reaching for his flag and arguing with Nix.

Meanwhile arky had already attempted to recover and deflected the ball off of the official blowing it dead there.

White hat (and Nix) screwed up bigly, but replay didn't. That's what the SEC statement essentially said.

Then the ball should have been spotted at the Arkansas 29, where the ball was at the time of the whistle.
