Here's a good write-up on it for those interested. Title of this thread is accurate. The SEC has created rules out of thin air to strip Arkansas of a rightfully earned victory.

I mean, keeping Aub from crossing the 50 would have secured the win
yes, it was a bad call, but looked like Aub would recover about 10 yards back, forcing a longer FG attempt

I really don’t know why anyone is surprised. Shitty calls always go Aubie ‘s at JHS. Been that way for the past 20 years and will never change. It is a travesty that is rooted in the SEC ref culture.

The fact that you have to complete the snap to spike the ball is a stupid rule anyway. It makes no sense.

Someone posted a pic of the ref running in waving his hands, and blowing the play dead. The ball was at least 5 yards from any arky defender

Damn right. Arkansas won the game on the field. It was over right there. Auburn had no timeouts remaining and less than 30 seconds on the clock. Arkansas 1st and 10. One knee ends the game.
