Have seen some unwatchable games due to too many whistles, some others (like the current LSU-Texas game) are hilariously one-sided.

Do refs ever get fired or disciplined? Is there any league review?

All the games I watch, the officials let them mug the shite out of each other. Of course I don't watch WBB, so not sure how they call that. Lots of jump balls if it's anything like high school girls basketball.

I think they should get rated each game. At the end of each school year, they have an average rating.

The bottom 5% get canned.

This would raise the officiating levels in all sports imo.

My favorite call today: two refs close to a play did not see who hit a ball last before it went out. The third ref came running from across the court, nowhere near in position to see the play, or where she had responsibility to call. She demonstratively signaled Texas ball.

Only problem, replay showed she was clearly wrong. No replay used by the refs.
