Agree. I think if we get to 20 we are probably good. If we finish 2-1 I think it’s a firm in.

Yeah, hopefully that 1 is against us, lol. But y’all have a tough road environment. Nice arena.

I don’t expect A&M to get into the tourney. I think the committee values Texas more no matter their resume. And to be honest UK, and Missouri deserve it more. I think A&M gets left out unless they beat Arkansas.
Which I do not think happens

That’s silly.
2-2 in our last four, and we’re locks.
1-3 might be enough. Certainly if it’s Arkansas.

We are anything but locks. Let us just take off the maroon shades. The SEC isn’t getting a record number of bids. Missouri deserves it more, especially since they have head to head. What good wins does A&M have? We have lost to most of the “tourney” teams we have played. What quality wins are there? We’ve played well in most losses but they are still losses. 2-2 against scrubs proves nothing if you lose every elite matchup.

Honestly, I think you're just ignorant about college basketball. I ain't mad. But, I'm telling you, if we finish 2-2, we are locks to make the tourney. That would put us squarely in the WAB top 40, and that has become a very reliable predictor of seeding. No team last year was more than 7 spots off it's WAB, and nobody in the top 40 or so was left out.

I expect a Texas win over Florida tonight, with complaints about the refs. Standard practice in the SEC, the conference works to get in as many teams as possible, so a team that has basically clinched going on the road to a bubble team is almost guaranteed a loss (except Kentucky of course). This is not a Texas thing or a Florida thing, but it is an SEC thing, and has been going on since the 80's.

I expect they get all the calls on Saturday against A&M as well. Cannot have one bubble team at 2-0 against another. Especially not Snakey’s darling school Texas.

All 4 of of those at this juncture have to win the SEC tournament to get in...unless either team can win out the regular season and at least get to the finals. Lots of basketball left. Really a fun time of year.

If aTm is left out (unless they lose out or something). It will definitely be because of politics and not them actually not deserving it. It’s a gimmicky style, but they’ve had some really good wins and can finish out with over 20, they should be in.

That is dumb.

Alabama gets a lot of grief for having new basketball fans. But clearly Alabama has new basketball fans.

If i called your opinion dumb would that make you captdumbass?
Definitely not a new basketball fan here. Those teams have work to do to be safely in. That's just Mytake on what they need to do. Lots of things outside the league can keep SEC teams out if you're close to that bubble.

That’s not what you said. You said they couldn’t get in without winning the SEC tourney, except maybe by winning out and getting to the SEC finals.
What you said was dumb. Sorry.

New fans are better than no fans.

A&M now has to win this weekend. Have to beat the other bubble teams in order to squeak in. Have to hold serve at home. That is just to be in the discussion again. They are probably last four in or first four out if they go 0-2 this week.
The lack of height has been exposed. Florida provided the blue print for other teams.

Saying all those teams gave to get to the finals of the SEC tournament to make the NCAA tournament is dumb. It is what it is.
