The SEC tournament is not a conference championship Vols. How many times must this be said.

Regular season = conference champion
SECT = recipient of SEC's auto bid

Just want to give a shout-out to Ark and State for doing their part to keep games interesting and entertaining. Hopefully other teams are taking notes and will do their part to make tomorrow’s games more enjoyable.

I did almost include your game but I noticed Russell Brand was on Gutfeld so never made it back to the game. So technically you didn’t weren’t exciting enough.

There are only two traditional basketball powerhouses in the SEC. Kentucky and Arkansas. Both schools actually care about hoops and generate plenty of revenue. They may both down years sometimes, but they carry the banner for the league.

Nothing against Arkansas, but not sure I’d call a team with 1 National Championship a traditional basketball powerhouse.

Obviously things are completely different in sports like baseball.

Point taken. They have been well above average for the most part since the days of Sutton in the seventies. It's really only those two schools that have been consistent for decades.

Honestly, it wasn’t until recently I discovered they only had one national championship. I felt like I had been scammed because of the hype they usually get. It’s like false advertisement. At least when we talk about teams like Tenn, Alabama, or Misery we all know they’ve never even made it to the final four.

Why does Mississippi st invest so little in basketball? They have potential but don’t seem to care.

They sold out the program. When they moved the student section off the court because the people in the “expensive seats” complained about having to stand so much during the game. It ruined the atmosphere so people stopped going and it killed recruiting. I‘ve always wanted to know what the average distance traveled for fans per game was. Many of us drove over an hour for a game and it just wasn’t worth it anymore. You end up with a lot of fans for 3-4 games and the players played like crap because they weren’t used to playing in that atmosphere.

I’m not trying to be an a-hole here, but I’ve heard MSU spends less on basketball than any other conference team. I’ve been to games against y’all and there were some big good teams who were competing for the conference.

You folks deserve a good product and fans will show up. When fans start filling the place up they’ll have to support the team.

Your coach has you headed in the right direction.

Not 6. 7, man. 7’s the number. Can’t even get your heart going with 6.
