Texas A&M was in fact a college of The University of Texas from 1876 to 1932. Hard fact.
SEC fans should not be without this information just in case something gets out of line in a conversation.
SWC fans always kept this morsel of truth handy in case Aggie began to act up.
Important today? Maybe not. But Aggie is not going to run off to another conference hoping that this gets swept under the rug.

All my grandparents are passed, dumbass. Don’t worry, I looked it up and found. They were called the Agricultural & Mechanical College of Texas. Never were they associated with The University of Texas system even though they were supposed to be at one point.
