You’re not a pilot thus works for an airline. So, this is a stupid question as it pertains to this conversation.

I simply pointed out that Alabama, the youngest team in the conference, suffered multiple key injuries, which resulted in us playing more true freshmen than any team I can think of. And yet, we've been told injuries aren't a valid discussion.
"Multiple key injuries" were Moses and Ray.
You were one of the youngest teams because you were already playing freshmen as a result of attrition, not because of injury.
Its one thing to lose a couple of players, another when you basically have no secondary or no running backs.
I'm sorry you cant understand this.

He called you an idiot George.
You gonna take that?
You gonna take that?

And redshirt senior McMillon. Losing 3 of your front starting 7, including both inside linebackers, and being forced to rely on freshmen to fill the void is kind of a big deal. In fact, did any other team in the country experience something like that?
You can pretend it's no big deal if you'd like. I'll be here for it.

Are you positive his backup wasnt indeed better than him?

Might have been, we'll never really know. The thing you've missed through all of this is the toll it takes on depth. Regardless of whether or not McMillon would have been an All-American or would have eventually lost his spot, he'd still be providing leadership and quality depth.

Okay?
This is true for every team that lost an injured player.

Yep, and Bama already being the among the youngest teams in the country - those injuries hurt a bit more.
Losing both upper classmen inside linebackers and having to replace them both with true freshmen is quite a tall task.

You had 5 more freshmen on your roster than LSU, a team that was missing two starters coming into Tuscaloosa and lost two more during the game.
It wasnt like you were far and away younger than everyone else.

You're moving the goal posts.
Here's the post that created this discussion:

Texas was actually a pretty good team early in the year until injuries decimated them.
Are injuries an excuse for performance, or not?

Depends on if you lost two productive starters like most programs did or a majority of two units like most programs did not do.
You're actually the one moving the goalposts.
Texas' injury situation was a lot different than Alabama's.

Losing both starting middle linebackers and the starting quarterback is enough to collapse most teams' seasons. That's pretty substantial, even without the others. I'm still not quite sure why or how you're trying to minimize that.

My statement was Texas was a good team prior to all of the injuries.
I'm still not quite sure why you even brought Alabama into it.
