Prematurely...

Look, I'm happy L7u was able to beat their opening game vs #22 Miami. It's good for the SEC for the mid tier teams to win OOC games. Helps the strength of the conference argument towards the end of season when the top 4 playoff teams are being selected and ranked.

Plus, it makes the upcoming melts even better. Once again, we get to see Charlie Brown kick at the air, fall and we can laugh.

And

8Su is coming.

LSU fans need to chill or you're going to end up being very disappointed...Miami is terrible and they out gained you. LSU wasn't that impressive tbh. Same for Auburn. This Washington team got manhandled by Penn St in their bowl game last year. Let that sink in. Hell UW outplayed auburn after half and really should have won that game. Should have been up by 2 TDs after that fumble in the red zone. Gus can't make adjustments and again he proved that last week. O line and running backs are meh. QB and D line look good, though.

Yeah. We know. But frick it all, we have a chance at a much better season than we thought, and that is pretty damned exciting.

Alabama wasn't overly impressive either. They won big, sure, against a team that is only marginally better than the Arkansas State team they will be playing this weekend. They're strong, but didn't show much more than what every other top 10 team in the country would have shown. Tua is getting hyped to the moon and back but missed some throws pretty badly. Pretty athletic but so is Hurts. We will see how he does against real competition when they know to prepare for him.
