Since when is the Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving day? Have I been living under a rock or something?

Just recently moved back to Thanksgiving night.

I've heard ESPN really pushed it.

Replays of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will score higher ratings.

ESPN wanted a constant matchup on Thanksgiving Night. LSU-A&M was on Turkey Night when the game was at College Station but refused (rightfully so) to play it on Thursday when it was scheduled for Tiger Stadium.

Thursday and Friday games should be reserved for shite conferences. We're the SEC. We should never play on Thursday or Friday in the regular season. Ever.
