I'm fine getting rid of divisions but think the idea of the 4 team pod is stupid. Just give each team 2 permanent rivals. No need for 4 as no team in this conference has more than 2 legitimate rivals. Keep permanent opponents to a bare minimum if we are getting rid of divisions altogether.
