I agree; in spite of the last ~20 years in the wilderness and strong showings from Florida/Georgia/LSU, Tennessee's accomplishments are still superior to those schools.
So, yeah, the three of you should be by yourselves in Tier 3.

I still subscribe to the Big 6 theory...
1.Bama obviously...then
UF,UGA,LSU,AU,UT although UT is really approaching a point where over a decade and a half of mediocore to bad football makes it reasonable to drop them.
Profiles can be raised or lost
UF from 1990 on is a completely different program and will probably never return to what they were before, at least not consistently.
LSU. Same for them. Saban propelled them to another level and they are probably never going to go back to 90s crap lsu
UGA. Steady rise in profile since Richt but not the meteoric rise like UF, LSU. Pretty consistent save about 6 years in 90s.
AU. Surprising, probably the most consistent with really no prolonged droughts since the 70s. Basically been the same roller coaster with 8 wins to champ level team within a 5 year period over and over again. Def a step down from where Dye had AU but still fairly consistent in a weird way

Yes until the 80s the SWC was a power conference and one of the best with other power conferences. Cheating and probation destroyed it. From the 60s to the 80s, Arkansas was a lot better then than now. Back when Texas was actually good under Royal, they sometimes if not often had more talent than Bama and if you beat Texas then you were good enough to beat anyone regardless of opponent. Texas is a joke now but they weren't at that time.

We're comparing the 2 programs over the course of the last 21 years.Are you not capable of determining the various degrees of success?
UT fans would kill for UGA's success over the last 20 years and the 20 stretch is far more successful than any 20 year stretch UT has had since the 50's
