Unfortunately for UGA, what you expect Bama to be hasn't really translated to the field.

LSU was picked, at media days, to finish 5th in the SEC. They finished in a 6-way tie for 3rd. Vegas o/u was LSU winning 9.5 games. LSU would finish w 9 wins with a bowl game win. I wouldn’t call that massively underachieved. Disappointing finish having started the season 4-0 in SEC play, absolutely
