see i knew someone would come use that reasoning, but everyone mistakes the SEC East of now and the SEC east of past and well AU would have about the same success if you asked me
i don't think we'd fair any better or you guys any worse. Just saying that the game as a divisional game (for both teams) makes the road a bit more difficult.

oh i don't even know if yall were the schools, and really wasn't trying to stick my nose in that one, just adding to the part where, while i'd like to be in the east, i do think it would make the east a bit more difficult to win.

Yes, but it beats going to MizzU. Frick that noise.

oh definitely, i just think Georgia's road would be the same which what i said to nite. the east would be tighter but hell every time we play yall we have to win anyway. our game has decided who won the east/west so many times, why not make it the east title these days right?

In honesty, it would probably do Auburn good to not have to play Bama every year. The perception of being the lesser school in the state would diminish somewhat, and think of the hype if Bama and Au met in the SEC Championship game with that and a NC berth on the line.

A&M fan here who wants the permanent rivals. Give us Mizzou, I don't care. 1 rotating and 1 permanent would work fine. I sure hope that doesn't go away, I don't want this hanging over our head forever.

it would do humanity good. Or did you not watch the espn special and hang your head in shame?
and you're still a master of backhanded comments.

yea i am waiting on that link too. adding AU to the east would make shite easier, we are fine with it. i thought it was Bammer having a conniption
I don't think Bama gives a shite what teams are in each division. It's a dumbass idea to get rid of traditional rivalries though.

true, if we lost the deep south's oldest rivalry i'd hold a lotta angst against you rooks
only reason i said that was because some wouldn't want to choose between bama playing UT or AU
i say just send them west, other than UF no one will miss them

Wow, the SEC is ruining itself. If this happens I hope Bama and UT can play OOC. Knoxville is my favorite road game.

Eh, I don't think anybody was unhappy with the SEC the way it was. Its nothing personal.

I don't think the schedules will stay this way for long. Maybe 2 to 3 years at most. By that time the SEC will be @ 16 teams and divided into 2 divisions with two 4 team pods each. You'll play all 3 teams from your pod - rotate 2 teams from the other pod within your division - rotate 1 team from each pod in the other division and 1 permanent rival from the other division.
