When the wife of a big money Ole Miss booster sleeps with NCAA investigation to hammer Miss State. Will anything top this ever.

Jackie proved this in court.

Any other crazy SEC booster stories on this level.

That was a big one, especially if we're not talking about the "usual" booster stuff (giving money to recruits), even in large amounts (Logan Young $ to a coach for Albert Means).

LSU had a booster steal from a children's hospital to get money to recruits.

Bama had a booster poison Auburn's downtown trees.

all that's bad.

but the worst and should-be-most-punishable offense is the 46 to 68 year old twitter groupies that put a horn/tiger/dog/elephant sign and say their team's chant on a talented young man's feed after he 'drops' a top 32 teams and to respect his decision.

that will not sway him.

it will not sway him.

Nope. You need to gather the correct information.

Stealing money from a hospital is bad/ evil, but sleeping with the NCAA investigator is definitely crazier. om wins this contest

Now days some rogue booster giving a $100,000 for a player is no big deal anymore.

Killing the Auburn trees was crazy. Who won that fight the fan who put cam jersey on Bryant's statue or Harvey poisoning the trees. I would say Harvey by a million miles.

I have always wondered if he never called Finebaum does he get caught.

They call that a disproportionate response. Only a certifiably crazy person cares about a college football team enough (of a school he never attended) to do what he did.

That is the chance you take dealing with the public. The guy who put that Jersey on Bryant should have known there is a chance of a crazy person wanting revenge. The Auburn fan thought it was all just having some fun till a real life insane person in Harvey got involved. On top of that some other guy burnt the new trees to the ground.

That was just some dumbass playing with a lighter with zero ties to either school. Of course Harvey really had no ties to either school either, but much like your comrades like Cnite, being an Alabama fan was really all he had going for him in life.

When I worked in downtown Auburn, it was pretty routine to have an Alabama fan or UGA fan try to light the trees on fire after around bar closing time. There were quite a few arrest.

Before that ever happened I distinctly recall Auburn friends talking about how those trees were slowly dying, possibly because of all of the toilet paper and pressure washing over the years. (I think the University had done a study on it.)

So just in terms of getting caught, unless I'm remembering wrong I would guess that he wouldn't have, unless they did some sort of additional testing that could identify the poison. And even then, I would think it would be hard to trace back.

Either way, clearly the guy wasn't the brightest bulb, and deserves to be immortalized as an idiot and a criminal. I just hate that he was associated with Alabama, even only as a "fan."

We spent $3.5 mil on a TV.

Sorry for having a tradition other than wearing jean shorts (although I realize you are an Alabama alter).

That was a university report from several years prior. They were not dying at any great rate. By the point Harvey arrived there was also another report how they were making a comeback and thriving

They would have done testing and found the cause of the sudden death, but finding Harvey would not have happened

He also called and left messages with a professor in the department of Agriculture. Not the brightest bulb, but he wanted to be a hero to the Alabama fanbase
