It's the basis of the lawsuit the SEC has now.

You were recruiting ineligible players with the hope they would be deemed eligible by one of your local judges.

That much is clear and is supported completely by LSU's actions as I laid out previously.

The rule created after it happened?

Still waiting on the Ethan Johnson explanation.

If you read the bylaws, the commissioner has pretty unwavering and unilateral power to do whatever he/she wants. Really the only thing that requires a vote is to change bylaws and to expel a member. The commissioner can pretty much punish punish anyone at his own discretion otherwise, and the severity of the punishment is also at his own discretion.

Do you really think the commissioner would go against the will of the SEC presidents and risk getting replaced? Because that is what would happen if the commissioner punishing schools for no reason.

Explain, O Wise One, why Ethan Johnson, for instance, filed in Baton Rouge?

Piggy backing because everyone knew the Baton Rogue judge would grant the TRO.

Why didn't everyone piggyback then? Why were there suits filed all over the country? How would he even know about this specific suit, he had no connection to anything or anyone?

If the rule was only created after it happened, you wouldn't have needed a judge to make them eligible in the first place.

Because it was part of the strategy to have as many players as possible in the suit.

The attorney went around and gathered them up.

Honestly, I'm not even sure what your questions have to do with anything.

LSU is clearly guilty because you recruited them before they were legal and Kiffin admitted it publicly.

Of holding roster spots open?

Look, I know you hate LSU and probably would love to see us kicked out but it makes no financial sense for LSU to be booted.

I gave a timeline of events and actions by LSU that clearly shows their intentions.

And those intentions were to recruit ineligible players and then use the court systems to make them eligible.

Just as the SEC is claiming.

I don't doubt that you actually believe this in your head.

Because it's a matter of which ones the attorney was successful in being able to add.

What is it that you think you are proving here?

Ok, let's ignore the federal lawsuit that makes the same claims.

Yeah, it's all in my head.

Good day, I'm done with your stupid shite.

I don't blame you. Your entire narrative is built on a CBS Sports story citing "anonymous sources" and some Twitter posts.

Here is the actual rule you are referencing. I'll bold the important part for you:

quote:

An SEC Institution is not permitted to have an athlete on its roster who has:

1. Previously declared for the NFL, NBA, or WNBA draft, and did not appropriately withdraw.

2. Signed a contract with an NFL (or other professional football league), NBA/G-League, or WNBA (or affiliate) team.

3. Been listed on an NFL (or other professional football league), NBA/G-League, or WNBA (or affiliate) roster.

LSU never had such a player on their roster. The rule says nothing about contacting or recruiting such players. And even if it did, such a rule was not in place with the recruitment of these players occurred.

Seems like Kiffin insinuated they decided to recruit them after the rulings.

Don't let facts disturb your little narrative though.

quote:

When Kiffin appeared on the Pat McAfee show, he openly admitted that he structurally dislikes the idea of professional athletes returning to the amateur ranks. But as the leader of his team, he refuses to disadvantage his team intentionally.

“At the end of the day, because of these rulings, they’re either going to play for you, or they’re going to play for someone else around the country,” Kiffin told McAfee. “So we’ve made the decision to recruit them.”

The fact that Glenn Guilbeau is posting this tells you they never had it.

This dude hates LSU and it must pain him to type something non-negative about lsu and hit send.
