ATL is the capital of the south. There’s no where else appropriate for such a southern event.

Plus it’s slap full of SEC alumni and has the airport and hotel space to make it work.

You forgot your seventh point: it might as well be a home game for Georgia for another eight years.

What makes it a home game?

Hat tip to the current SEC members.

Slick move on y’all’s part to lock Atlanta down before we get in the SEC.

We would have had that game moved to Dallas about 10 minutes after our first meeting as a full partner.

Firstly, thank you for the complement of assuming UGA will be in the SECCG for the next 8 years even after divisions are gone.

Secondly, neutral site games tend to be UGA home games anyway, from South Bend to the Rose Bowl. We travel well.

2. Plenty of Hotel Rooms in Nashville as well.

I wanted to go there for our Vandy game this year until I looked at hotels.

Sorry, but you are wrong about this.

Nashville lacks hotel rooms especially for a city that host as many events. Part of the reason they didn't get the world cup and still won't get a superbowl despite the new stadium.

I am glad.

Cowboys stadium sucks. I’m glad this will be the last year with that as an option.

I haven’t been to Reliant. Not a fan of Houston traffic. Went through there too many times to see the wife’s family before they moved to east Texas.

Nashville - great. Will be my first sec road trip to watch Texas and vandy. Love Nashville.

Atlanta - been twice for Braves games at the Ted. No problems.

New Orleans - meh….. take or leave super dome.

I’m glad to stay south east for the championship games. May not have them much longer anyway with the playoffs expanding.

Absolutely true. Atlanta is Hell on Earth, at least in the South. Move the game to Nashville.

True. St. Louis needs to be in the rotation.

God intended for the game to be played in Birmingham which is why he placed it there. Man moved it to Atlanta

No, this is just flat wrong.

Aside from Lexington and Fayetteville, Atlanta is closer.

It's Nashville...so you don't have to worry about navigating multiple Peachtree Streets...it's straight forward to the stadium

MARTA goes directly from the airport to MBS.
