I mean someone has to lose games. Unless you really want to go NFL lite and are ok with a lot of teams going .500. Vandy gets kicked out, that is just an additional loss someone else will have to pick up.

I respect the fact there's a sizeable amount of sentiment for charter members of the SEC and rightfully so.

But if you think this scenario can't be legally maneuvered for any team's removal for whatever reason, you're being naive.

I would agree, but three years ago we'd all be saying "Only morons think Stanford will join the ACC"

If there's one constant in college football, it's change.

Sometimes it takes awhile, but it tends to happen in big, sweeping moments.

If the number of games stays the same, the number of losses stays the same.

Why the hell would the sec want to get out of Nashville market

Vandy has nothing to do with the Nashville market. Houston (like Nashville) is not much of a college sports city, but with A&M, Texas, and even OU, it is very much an "SEC market".

But as said by others, that's not how TV advertising works anymore.

I don’t trust the source of this information, but if we pretend it’s real, maybe it’s an indirect way to tell certain teams to get their shite together, and spend most of the money the conference gives out annually. You can’t take that money to the grave hoarding it, or worse, giving money to the academic side. Also, there should be investments in other sports outside the Big 3.
