LSU flat out handled Bama. The game was not as close as the score. Bama will be good next year. I’m sure they have their usual weak schedule. But the dynasty is over. Bama went about a half dozen years with the clear cut #1 class and without being handled a single time. Sure, they lost a few games, but the winner was always fortunate to get the win.
Bama has been handled twice in the last two seasons, and it has been about three years since they had the best recruiting class. I realize they were ranked @1 two years ago, and they are currently ranked 1, but that is due to the “Bama bump”. Clemson, Georgia and LSU are recruiting at least as well as Bama.
And one thing has been proved throughout Saban’s career: he needs talent superiority to win consistently. He’ll never have that again. You MIGHT win another natty under saban, but the odds are against it.

If this were true, Bama would average 6 or 7 wins per year for the next decade, average 7 holding calls a game, have 80% of replay calls go against them, earn 3 disqualifications each year for targeting and lose a game a year in the last minute of the game.
