Just thinking about how this would apply, if I'm on vacation and see a guy in an Ohio State shirt, I would be embarrassed to say anything about 7 in a row or whatever. We have absolutely nothing to do with that and just about everyone in the nation has accomplished more than us during this period, SEC or not. I can understand the conference pride from the 4 schools who have contributed to this streak, but it is pathetic to latch on to if you're one of the other 10 imo.

USC has the best chance of any non SEC school. I just don't want the SEC to win it.

if kiffen wins the bcsncg, it will make your program look much worse than if any sec won it.

because he left tennessee for what he believed was a better program and would prove it by winning the nc at that program, even with sanctions..

i can't stand the guy, would much rather see tennesse win it all than him.

Not sure why winning 8 games is unfortunate when we've had two losing seasons.

All of your posts are unclear and contradicting.

USC is a better program than Tennessee. That isn't debatable. Kiffin would leave anywhere for that job, he made that pretty clear while he was here.

The point is that Dooley aint getting the boot if yall win 8 games. Unfortunately, he's also not an SEC championship caliber coach. So yall would be prolonging the inevitable.

Clear enough for you champ?

Y'all have won a BCS national title though, it's not like you're SC or Moo St going around chanting "SEC SEC SEC."

did he take your pride with him when he left? tennessee is a proud program with a great history. i hated what kiffen did to your football team and the fanbase when he left. and, i'm an alabama grad/fan.

How did he take our pride?

It's one person who left for his dream job. Coaching changes happen all the time.

I guess, but FSU, OU, The U, tOSU, USC, and Texas do too, and all more recently than us. We have been an embarrassment of a program during these years, just because we have sucked in a good league doesn't mean we can talk shite to schools who have actually accomplished something recently.

Why would you root against your own conference mates in the BCSNCG? Aside from the fact that it reflects positively on the conference and therefore your school, your school gets more $$ if the SEC wins.

You'd root for USC over Bama? Well, that's kinda sad. I'd even root for Arkansas if they got to the championship game.

This board rooted against Auburn in a major way when we played Oregon, and for that I give you all the

But I still root for the SEC to do well. It gives our teams the benefit of the doubt when we get compared to teams in similar situations from other conferences. Plus, honestly, our games are just more fun to watch when you know they all have national title implications.
