LSU sort of reminds me of the Royals when they were good. Good hitting, mediocre starters but solid relievers. Floyd did a respectable job tonight, he never imploded

I’m not disappointed with their performance. Tennessee is the real deal and have my full respect. Floyd pitched well, but his control and fielding (and the wild pitch) cost LSU at least 2 runs. I still think the Vols win this one 3-2 even if LSU had been perfect. If Berry and Doughty were in the lineup, this one could have gone either way. Zero excuses though. Tennessee is very impressive.

I don't think they need any help from Florida the way Bama is playing. Maybe A&M, Tennessee or LSU can do them a solid. Would be cool if they both made it from the first day to the final. Would there be any pitching left?
