We beat that arse in basketball and have the better football team currently.

That's pathetic.

Did I do it right?

Well we got swept in a series where we missed two 3 run HRs in game 1 by a combined 4 inches. Lose game 3 on one of the worst calls in SEC baseball history. 2 run HR gets turned into an out and only one run because umps dont see ball go over fence and don't make a call causing runners to pass each other due to OF acting like he caught it.

So far we lost those two games to Arky, lost a game to Mizzou on a dropped fly ball by LF, blew 9th inning lead to UK and lost on walk off past ball. Could easily be 8-4 in SEC play but somehow 4-8.

I am truly amazed at your ability to fit so many excuses in so few words. Years of practice I assume? Being serious though, was the outfielder acting like he caught the ball so that the runners would pass each other? I didn't see any highlights but it sounds like a drama filled game. Might have to catch the replay.

Think about it this way, we also had a few long balls fall just short of being out of the park so the pendulum COULD have swung to where you had a few blowouts this weekend not just the one on Saturday.

As for the calls over three days that cost them runs (mythical), they should really focus on hitting the ball with runners on base. Auburn's problems aren't officiating, they're squaring up the baseball in conference play. When the pitching got better they became unable to get hits/runs with the exception of one game against the Aggies. This is why Auburn is averaging roughly 3.3 runs per game in 12 conference matches. Their pitching outside of Mize isn’t good enough to win a lot of games in this league with that kind of run support.

All the excuses. All the whining and subtle jabs by coaches and players. 20-7. Auburn’s biggest problem is the classlessness and lack of respect towards an opponent. At least for Auburn's sake it was a “cheap and non-elite” sweep over the weekend.

Not even close. Always blame the opponent or someone else for the mistake committed by horrible base running. Kjerstad didn’t even try to deke the runner on the home run. He didn’t act like he was trying to get the ball back in to infield and where the runner was he would’ve rifled to first had he caught it. More than anything it was an optical illusion of the baseball barely clearing the fence.

It's not like Heston intentionally dropped an infield pop up bunt to turn a double play or anything.

Just rewatched it. Not sure what he did after the play could be seen as "acting like he caught it". It was just a very close play that was hard to tell live.

Amazing really, from the tv vantage point, it looked caught. THen he closes his glove all the way while looking down at it as if in disbelief. He didn't try to act like he was throwing the ball in, etc.

Either way, our bats came alive following that and it was glorious to see.
