When I see things like that, it makes me wonder where those teams would fall in other conferences.

Here you go..

I gave teams without a ranking in a poll a ranking of 30 in that poll. Idk if that is reasonable or not, but they are probably just out of the polls.. in theory.

To your question though, the rankings don't change much and seem to fall in line with the aggregate within 1-2 spots.

The Missouri AD to this point over 3 administrations has fallen under the assumption that Baseball is not worth the investment since it’s unlikely to be revenue generating.

Therefore they’ve gone cheap and passed up interested and good coaches every cycle because we wouldn’t make the $ commitment to the coach.

Also, as someone who has attended games - the stadium is COLDER than you can imagine when it’s below 60…which is half the season. They put the stadium at the highest point of the area and it makes it simply miserable.

To summarize our brain trust:
Step 1 finally invest and built the mediocre stadium in the worst location imaginable.

Step 2 nobody attends

Step 3 refuse to invest $ since nobody attends which makes the program worse.

Texas and Oklahoma would be the highest ranked teams in any conference other than the SEC and the ACC; however, they're 6th and 7th respectively in the SEC.
correct OU won the big 12 last year . Acc would be close big ten for sure imo.

Still crazy that the SEC is 11 of the top 17 at the moment. Only the ACC and 1 team each from the B1G and Pac12 break into the top 17.

Yes, and the top 3 expansion candidates (if we are forced to expand) are probably UNC, FSU & Clemson.. all in the Top 17 as well.

What Aggie is blowing PG? PG ranks the Ags higher than any of the other polls despite a mediocre 9-6 record and some TERRIBLE losses.

**IF** that were to happen then the SEC tournament would have to be considered the defacto national championship. You'd nearly have the entire slate of 1st round hosts.

It's possible to get 12+ into the final 16 this year.. all but Missouri will have a chance to be a 1 or 2 seed. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

If you add UNC, FSU and Clemson you just crown the national champion in Hoover and be done with it

I think there are a number of fanbases that like to troll over this point, but with our AD making him the highest paid college baseball coach, major investment into facilities that he has be able to consult on, and the fact that he is free to create a brand here without some of the history of other programs dictating his choices, I think there's a reasonable chance he stays.

He's had eight years here building the program the way he wants to, and finding a lot of success doing it.

I'd love to see the counter-argument from fans of other teams as to why he would leave, other than "because my fanfiction says so."

I thought Oklahoma State was perennial in baseball but I don't see them on the list this year.

Before PG & USA Today were added, the averages had 13 teams in the Top 25. I also hadn't added the "30 Ranking" for teams that didn't show up in polls at that point.

Thanks. I got tired of studying the chart and decided I was stupid.
