In context, he was contrasting everyone with Auburn and UF’s hot streaks.

Strange way of saying we've won three of the last five series.
I was just showing that everyone has warts at this point.. as always, it will come down to who is hot at the right time..
The best teams that we have played imo are Arkansas, Florida & LSU. I think one of those teams is the likely NC.

Northeastern getting ranked. Had to look them up. Same conference as UNCW, Stoney Brook, and Campbell.
Tom Glavine's brother is the coach. Very solid program year in and year out.

Georgia swept Florida in Gainesville in a series that seems like a million years ago, and we beat Arkansas at home. We're consistently good in Athens but inconsistent on the road. Florida is certainly the hottest team in the country now.

The vaunted David Pierce offense making a comeback.
It never left as Schloss didn't have much time to actually get his own guys this year. The approach at the plate is different, but it's a lot of the same players.. striking out in 5-6 pitches instead of 3-4.

Schloss's Guys this year - Mendoza, ARod, Jonah, Winfield
Winfield has been a bust, but I'd argue the other 3 are some of our best hitters. I think next years team will be quite different.
CF - Gasparino
LF - Jonah
RF - Freshman/Transfer
3B - ARod
SS - Freshman/Transfer
2B - Mendoza
1B - Freshman/Transfer
C - Freshman/Transfer
DH - Freshman/Transfer
I'm thinking Farmer, Borba & Winfield probably transfer. Idk about Matthew Scott. It'd be nice if Max came back, but I don't see that as very likely. I could even see Gasparino transferring..

I'm not talking about results.. I'm talking about the eyeball test.
Their plate discipline.
Their pitching.
I liked Florida early as well, but they kept shitting the bed. Now that they have figured out their pitching, they've got a chance imo.
Georgia is another good team imo, but I think you're lacking the arms needed to make a run.

Our pitching has improved but it's still our weak link.
As far as hitting, we need Ryland Zaborowski to return to the line up. I'm starting to think they might rest him until the regionals unless we're in jeapordy of losing a top 8 spot.

being ranked 1 is the kiss of death...hate it and i don't think LSU should be 1

I'm thinking we'll get 4-5 NS and 7 total host in Regionals
Florida is a wildcard though. If they win the next series and go on a run at Hoover, they could end up hosting as well.

Hopefully Belyeu can provide a jolt to this lineup.
DH Mendoza
RF Belyeu
C Galvan
SS Flores
2B ARod
1B Schuessler
CF Gasparino
3B Borba
LF Jonah
Once Mendoza can play 2B again, then you can decide between Farmer and Borba. I haven't seen why Gasparino was pulled yesterday though.
One other change that I would like to see:
Thursday - Flores/Bullpen
Friday - Harrison
Saturday - Riojas
That's probably what the rotation will look like in Regionals, so why not set it up now. I feel like moving Riojas to Friday has hurt us on Sunday and we already struggled a little bit on Friday's.
We aren't going to hit Ky Witherspoon on Thursday this week, so why waste Riojas in that start.

yeah schloss definitely was working magic early on this season. It's going to take some time to get the guys here he wants. Considering what he has to work with it's been a great season.

Added these to the OP.

hint: it isn't Texas A&M

Thanks as always, Big Broski.
There is no clear number one team in the SEC right now in my opinion.
But I will enjoy seeing that "1" next to LSU's name all week.

Added to OP. This one is strange to me.
Arkansas has played 22 games vs Q4 opponents. 42%

Aggie definitely laid an egg this season

I thought you guys had it figured out after last weekend. Baseball can be a fickle mistress.

Aggie with 59 RPI. Ouch!

Jekyll and Hyde team
Win series @ Tennessee
Win series @ Arkansas (first Arkansas series loss since 2022)
Win series vs LSU (Current #1)
Get swept vs 0-24 Missouri
That's coaching. Simple as that imo. I'm not saying Earley is a bad coach, but he appears to have lost the team, or they just gave up.. or they like to party to much.. I don't know the why, but something is missing..
