If it were handed out today, this is your winner.

Be nice now before his mommy gets on Facebook and writes an open letter about you being mean to her son.

Sonny seems to be a popular choice here.

My only rebuttal would be that this award seems to favor home run totals for the winner.

That said, Sonny has a massive BA lead. Should be fun to see it play out over the next 3 weeks.

For me, it is clearly Sonny DiChiara. He should the national player of the year as well.

A 1.439 OPS is ridiculous.

I might need to walk this one back. I knew Ivan Melendez was having a year, but I did not know he was having that kind of year.

22 bombs and a SLG... its over 9000! I mean .906.

He's batting over .400 as well.

Gilbert deserves a mention because of his defensive contribution. He’s probably the best defensive center fielder in the conference. If hitting is the only metric it’s got to be the Auburn first baseman

Drew Gilbert will never sniff being the ball player Dylan Crews is!

It’s funny because Crews gets no defensive credit but I haven’t seen him make a single fielding mistake the entire year

He’s got a better arm than all of them.

Cool and they’re still better outfielders than Gilbert
