Polls have nothing to do with national seeds.

I did not think the ACC would jump the SEC in baseball so fast.
what do you mean by "jump?" the sec is still superior at the cws.

Well the ACC RPI is 4 in top 10 also, from what I saw.

High RPI is nice, but it is only one factor. OU was a national seed at #22 and the #2 RPI team has been left out.

Cannizaro has done a great job holding it together, but you knew that lack of pitching depth was going to catch up to MSU at some point. Who knows, with a good draw, they might still get to Omaha, but they will have their work cut out for them.

I'm curious as to who has the advantage this weekend: Cannizaro or Dunn.

Forget a national seed. A national seed has not won the NC since 2011 and over 50% of the national seeds have not even made the CWS in the last 5 seasons.

That season OU also had a member of their staff on the selection committee and if I remember correctly this person got OU a national seed over Ole Miss, who shared the conference championship with LSU that season. Ole Miss was more deserving, but OU used politics to their favor.

Its okay though, Arkansas spanked that arse.

UK beats NKU, 10-1. Completes regular season at the Cliff with a 16-0 home record against non-SEC opponents.
