What you got?

Tier 1
1. Mississippi State (NCAAT, Host, Natl Seed)
2. Vanderbilt (NCAAT, Host, Natl Seed)
3. Arkansas (NCAAT, Host, Natl Seed)
4. Georgia (NCAAT, Host)
5. Florida (NCAAT, Host)
6. Auburn (NCAAT, Host)
7. LSU (NCAAT, Host)

Tier 2
8. Ole Miss (NCAAT)
9. South Carolina (NCAAT)
10. Texas A&M (NCAAT)

Tier 3
11. Tennessee (possible bubble)
12. Alabama (possible bubble)
13. Kentucky (possible bubble)

Tier 4
14. Missouri (no postseason)

The Top 7 are basically all Top 10/15 teams. Insane. Basically impossible to rank. LSU is my #7 and they were #1 in the country 2 weeks ago and will probably end up getting a national seed when it is all said and done.

I’d probably order it Ole Miss, LSU, UGA, Auburn in that stretch, but besides that, it looks good to me.

ETA: while bumping UF to #4

OM is a tad bit too high... we have some flaws and until those are improved I will wait to have lofty expectations

Auburn pitching is elite right now but we will see vs the deep SEC lineups. Led by Jack Owen and Tanner Burns.

Burns:

2019): 3-0, 0.68 ERA, 26.2 IP, 4 BB, 39 K, .124 B/AVG

The Tigers rank in the top 10 in the country in these categories:

Shutouts: 5 (2nd)
BB/9.0 IP: 2.21 (2nd)
K-BB ratio: 4.41 (3rd)
WHIP: 0.99 (6th)
ERA: 2.15 (9th)

I particularly think Vanderbilt is the best team in the country. LSU’s record isn’t indicative of it’s full ability, that UT series was a buzzsaw.

1. Vanderbilt
2. MSU
3. Arkansas
4. Auburn
5. Georgia
6. Florida
7. LSU

Yea I think Auburn is a pretty damn strong club this year.

LSU will figure things out like usual.

I'd bump Auburn over Georgia and Florida and move Tennessee up to tier 2.

I just still think Florida has more in the arsenal than they've showed in some of those midweek games against directional Florida schools (see tonight). We'll see.

Much like Alabama, gonna need to see them to compete against SEC teams before I trust them at all.

Alabama makes the tournament and I’m ecstatic. Year two of a rough rebuild and 16-2 is a damn good start.

Ole Miss should be higher and I agree UF should bump up a notch. I also think Tennessee might be better than you think and I also think Bama is better than a “bubble” team.

Is Florida pitching good this year? I’ve only seen them play once.

The one thing I’ve seen is MSU, Vnady, Auburn, Arky and UGA have a nasty 1-2 punch for Fri/Sat starters.

You thinking 13 NCAAT teams from the SEC this year Mullen?

Yea - like I said, Tennessee and Alabama have done all they can do so far, I just got to see them against SEC clubs before I can really trust them. This sort of start against meh OOC teams has happened quite a few times before and crashed and burned.

I don’t know how deep Florida is in pitching but I looked at their stats earlier and they have 3 guys who look really good. They appear to be a team pitching by committee with their 3 studs only pitching so many innings before going to the bullpen.

Arkansas's starters might be the weakness of the team this year. Bullpen is deep though. Lots of good underclassmen arms and one of the best closers in the nation in Cronin.

I'm thinking like 15th seed with a host due to attendance paired up with like Vandy for a Super.

that's about what we deserve at the moment

Few follow college baseball more than me. We’ve had this discussion before about Bama and non-conf opponents. You are winning those games you were losing in recent years. That says all that needs to be said. Not saying you are a top 5 Sec team right now but you’re gonna win some series. Mark it down.
