using the current 9/17/2023 Massey ratings and Winsipedia for matchup pairings. All matchups are as if the teams are playing this year, the 2023 season.

I have the SEC going 9-7 with this schedule, but it could easily be 9-7 in favor of the B1G. The expansion is really going to breathe some life into the B1G.

73 Nebraska and 92 Northwestern have no opponents, but would most likely lose to 47 Tulane and 94 Georgia Tech respectively.

I have it an 8-8 draw between the SEC and B1G in historical power ranking matchups if the teams played this year.

86 Rutgers and 96 Indiana have no opponents, but would likely lose to 26 Georgia Tech and 79 Tulane respectively.

I think the SEC and the B1G will be neck and neck for the '24 season. The difference will be marginal. I'd give a slight advantage to the SEC.
