The auto bid shite needs to go away entirely outside of conference champs who should get in (though future discussions on if the acc or big12 champs deserves auto bids needs to happen).

Some people didn’t seem to object, at least, 1 conference being omitted in the previous format.

What about those of us with in-state ACC rivals?

4 auto-bids each for SEC & Big 10

The 4th best SEC or Big 10 team does not belong in a playoff for the title.

The BCS would have selected the wrong two teams this year.

Further expansion is dumb, 12 is good since the Big 12, ACC and G5 get guaranteed make a wish bids

Viewership is down because they overlap to much with NFL playoffs and have the games on weekdays. Title game captured half of the audience watching TV on Monday night. People have to get up for work the next day.

Get rid of the auto seeding and I am fine with 12 teams and auto bids.

The SEC doesn't deserve 4.

They should be at 2 also.

The NFL is the way. The SEC should simply mimic them.

B12:
Texas
A&M
OU
MIZ

Cotton:
LSU
Ark
Ole Miss
State

Gulf:
Bama
Auburn
Tennessee
Vandy

East:
Florida
Georgia
SC
Kentucky

A playoff spot going to each pod winner and the opportunity for 2 wildcard spots should be the only acceptable demand from the SEC’s perspective.

Ratings were down for the championship game because people will watch to root against the SEC. Period.

Same reason the Chiefs making the Super Bowl will boost their numbers like the Pats used to.

This means Notre Dame will be in the playoffs every damn year,

Like it or not, Notre Dame is probably the biggest t-shirt school in the CFB and they generate lots of viewers.

So what? Did it mean less that the 9-7 NY Giants won the Super Bowl? Should Brady get another ring because NY lost 7 games?

Yes, it did mean less.

Maybe to you. But millions of New Yorkers and the Giants organization get the Lombardi trophy and the players got bonuses and gold rings with diamonds. While at least for that year, New England got a participation trophy

Think I'm kidding, right?

Then we had 1 & people (me included) said the size was too small.
That lasted ~10 years & the size/format grew.

Because it went from 4 to fricking 12

Just idiocy
