JASON frickING GARRETT
You guys have hired Jimbo Fisher who started mailing it in before he left FSU and then got your AD stolen by LSU and then hired a guy Ole Miss was itching to dump.

LSU hired a 16 year NFL veteran coach who's held an NFL head coaching position and various college and professional offensive coordinator positions do the job that a low level Saints assistant with no prior offensive coaching experience did in 2019.

That says a lot about him then, if true, and it isn’t good. if he wasn't going to do what he was paid for by FSU, then why didn’t he quit earlier? I doubt you would think it was ok for your employee to have his mind elsewhere instead of doing his job while taking your money. As long as he was employed by FSU, he owed it to them to do his job. He should repay them his salary from September on til he quit.

Coach O was 3-25 at Ole miss, but still dropped 50 on A&M last year.... guess people can’t get better though...

It’s true. Talks between Woodward and Jimbo began following 3 SEP loss to UCLA where Sumlin blew 34 pt lead with 4 min left in 3rd.
Zwerneman is long time Aggie beat writer.
It’s not a bad look. FSU suits and Jimbo hadn’t been getting along for some time and that’s putting it mildly.

My guy we are not changing playbooks or philosophies. Linehan will work with third down and red zone calls

No prob. Wasn’t implying or assuming anything. All did was post some facts most probably weren’t aware of.
Don’t care about anything other than your 12 SEP game. Want curb stomping blowout. Yall can miss Brady all you want after that.

If Garrett is so incompetent wouldnt it be better if he were fired by him. Maybe Garrett fricked that up too.

Here are a few more Scott Lineham FACTS. He was an OC for 13 years in NFL.
scoring offense
5 times top 10
8 times top 16 (top half of NFL)
total offense
7 times top 10
9 times top 16 (top half of NFL)
Both scoring and total offense
5 times top 10
8 times top 16 (top half of NFL)
Looks like more often than not he ran one of the better offenses in the NFL.

I get that FSU and Jimbo were already not getting along well, but he still owed them his best effort while they were paying his not insubstantial salary. Not the mention the betrayal of the football players whom he recruited. You would think he would show at least a bit of loyalty to those guys. Even if he knew he was leaving, he still owed it to them to stay focused on his job, not his future job.
I don’t necessarily blame him for wanting out at FSU. Things were going sour on a number of fronts, but that doesn’t excuse his lack of doing what he was paid to do and what he ethically should have been doing for his players.
