So awkward.
I do get the move in general and I do get that the timing was horrible (making the championship run really hurts his credibility in a way).
At least he manned up an apologized to the reporter, but it feels very forced and major damage control.
He basically gave “praise” for Texas A&M in one sentence then completely threw them and the leadership under the bus the next
